The launch of the new game, Grand Turismo Sport featured a display of 8 full size concept cars which was the largest ever gathering of GT concept vision cars in one place. Among those featured was the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo, which was displayed at the Copper Box in Olympic Park, London.
Adapting design cues from current Nissan performance models, the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo was created from scratch using the latest digital tools. The Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo emerged from styling study among Nissan’s global pool of young designers.
28 different manufacturers were asked to create a dream car to celebrate the game’s 15 birthday, This gave the young Nissan Design Europe team the chance to work closely with skilled aerodynamic technicians and an engineering team in Japan to ensure the virtual car performs as realistically as possible.
The Concept 2020 is featured in the new Fire Knight red body color that debuted at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, and featuring a new expression of Nissan’s signature V-Motion grille. The Nissan Concept 2020 VGT concept supercar is certain to further increase Nissan’s sizable presence in the game and beyond and by the looks of it I have to agree.
